Lauren Snow
I've had a love for makeup for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I would most likely be found with fingers and face covered in fun coloured eyeshadow or glitter. I would take any chance I could get to apply makeup on friends or family.
My career in makeup artistry began in 2015 when I was asked to apply makeup on a friend for her graduation. From there, I gained multiple more clients and realized that making people feel beautiful was my true passion. That same year, I began working as a beauty consultant in a retail chain, while continuing my freelance work.
In 2018, I moved to Toronto to pursue a certificate in Total Fashion Makeup Artistry from College of Makeup Art & Design. Here, I expanded my knowledge of makeup artistry techniques and specialized in makeup for photography.
After moving back to St. John's in late 2018, Blush Makeup + Beauty NL was born! Known as 'Makeup by Lauren Snow' from 2015-2018, I wanted to rebrand the business to include more new beauty services.
In August 2019, I was certified in Lash Lifts & Tints by The Studio Beauty Bar. I currently offer this service at my in-home beauty space.
It has been an absolute honour to be a part of my clients weddings, graduations, and other special events over the past 4 years, and I can't wait to meet my future clients!
